Bloom Literacy Centre operates on a term based model, however, we have also provided the monthly commitment option for those families requiring greater flexibility.
Initial Assessment
$200
Every child must have a reading assessment completed prior to beginning their intervention program. Families receive a clear summary of results along with instructional recommendations and next steps. The initial assessment provides accurate baseline data to support future progress monitoring.
*Please note: For Kindergarten students, we use a modified assessment protocol designed specifically for early learners. A separate assessment booking is not required.
Parent Mentor Session
Individualized $175 OR General $125
Individualized: Tailored to your child’s specific literacy needs. Parents are encouraged to bring their child so a Bloom teacher can model targeted literacy strategies and provide practical tools for continued support at home.
General: For families seeking general guidance on literacy development. Learn about foundational reading skills, common challenges, and evidence-based strategies to support literacy at home.
1-1 Intervention
Term - $90 per session
Monthly - $100 per session
To ensure meaningful and measurable progress, students are required to attend a minimum of two sessions per week and commit to services in minimum one-month blocks.
Research and clinical experience consistently show that literacy intervention must be intensive and consistent in order to produce growth. Sporadic sessions do not provide the repetition and cumulative practice necessary for reading development.
Small Group Intervention
Term - $75 group of 2
Monthly - $80 group of 2
To ensure meaningful and measurable progress, students are required to attend a minimum of two sessions per week and commit to services in minimum one-month blocks.
Small group literacy intervention (2-3 students/group) is only provided IF prospective clients have similar needs. Needs will be identified through the initial reading assessment. If you would like to be added to the waitlist for a group session, please contact us.
Early Literacy Support (Pre K & K)
$60
To ensure meaningful and measurable progress, students are required to attend a minimum of one session per week and commit to services in one-month blocks . Sessions are 30 minutes for this age group.
