Assessment
Grade 1 - Grade 12 (60 minutes): $200
Every child must have a reading assessment completed prior to beginning their intervention program. Families receive a clear summary of results along with instructional recommendations and next steps. The initial assessment provides accurate baseline data to support future progress monitoring.
*Please note: For Kindergarten students, we use a modified assessment protocol designed specifically for early learners. A separate assessment booking is not required.
1-1 Intervention
$100 per 50 minute session
To ensure meaningful and measurable progress, students are required to attend a minimum of two sessions per week and commit to services in minimum one-month blocks.
Research and clinical experience consistently show that literacy intervention must be intensive and consistent in order to produce growth. Sporadic sessions do not provide the repetition and cumulative practice necessary for reading development. This structure allows us to deliver instruction with the frequency and consistency required for real progress.
This fee includes the session time as well as preparation of individualized instructional materials and any related documentation completed following the session. Errors from each session are recorded to support the development of the following lesson.
Small Group Intervention
Group of 2: $85 per 60minute session
Group of 3: $70 per 75 minute session

Small group literacy intervention (2-3 students/group) is only provided IF prospective clients have similar needs. Needs will be identified through the initial reading assessment. If you would like to be added to the waitlist for a group session, please contact us.
Writing Intervention
$100 per 50 minute session
To ensure meaningful and measurable progress, students are required to attend a minimum of one session per week and commit to services in one-month blocks (1x/week · 4 weeks · $400).
Please note: Only provided separate from reading in specific and unique circumstances
Early Literacy Support (Pre K - K)
1:1 support $75 per 40 minute session
Small group $65 per 40 minute session
To ensure meaningful and measurable progress, students are required to attend a minimum of one session per week and commit to services in one-month blocks .
Private Small Group
2–3 children of similar age and developmental level may enroll as their own small group.
Bloom-Curated Small Group
Families may join our waitlist to be placed in a Bloom Literacy Centre curated small group with peers of similar age and readiness level.
All groups are intentionally kept small to allow for meaningful participation, individualized attention within the group setting, and a positive early learning experience.
60 minute individualized session $175
An assessment of your child is required before doing a parent session IF they are older than Kindergarten so we are able to provide mentoring targeted to your child’s specific areas of need. You are encouraged to bring your children to this session so that a teacher at Bloom Literacy can model a literacy lesson with your child. Each session is curated to the individual needs of your child depending on what their assessment results are. You will be given the tools you need to be able to help your child without needing outside support. You may need more than one session.
60 minute general literacy session $125
Designed to support families who are looking for general literacy guidance and a deeper understanding of how reading develops. These sessions provide parents with evidence-based information about foundational literacy skills, common reading challenges, and practical ways to support literacy at home. While informed by best practices in structured literacy, Parent Mentor Sessions are not individualized to a specific child’s learning profile and do not replace formal assessment or targeted intervention.
